High-Field NMR illuminator

As for the illumination experiments at high-field NMR, the illumination device, in-situ NMR illuminator, provides a compact and user-friendly adaptation to attach the light source kit directly to the sample tube with a light guide deep into the sample.


For whom do not have High-Field Field-Cycler, the high-speed sample shuttling system, we also provide an option, the fixed-field NMR illuminator, to perform the photo-related NMR experiments at commercial high-field NMR spectrometers. The major components of this NMR illuminator are a light source module and a light guide to couple the light directly to samples inside the NMR tube. The compactness of our in-situ NMR illuminator implements photo-related experiments without additional hardware requirements in an NMR spectrometer.

Key features:

  1. The light guide is compatible with the inner diameter of conventional 5mm liquid-state NMR tubes.
  2. The light guide has 4mm-diameter output of light coupling inside the NMR tube.
  3. High-power LEDs with optional wavelengths are installed directly on the light guide.
  4. Easy installation on commercially available NMR tubes
  5. Synchronizing illumination timing with NMR pulse programs by TTL triggers.
  6. Computer aid for controlling the light powers and various modes of illumination timing available
